Why Toowoomba Called Garden City?

Toowoomba and the Darling Downs are part of the South-East Queensland country. Situated just an hour and a half from Brisbane, and two hours from the Gold Coast, Toowoomba is accessible via two main highways and is perfect for a car or campervan hire holiday. The Warrego Highway journeys when traveling in an easterly or westerly direction and when coming from the north or south, visitors voyage the New England Highway.

Cobb & Co Museum is part of Queensland museum and is home to the National Carriage Collection, which features nearly 59 horse-drawn vehicles, and galleries portraying the natural and cultural history of Toowoomba and the Darling Downs.

Toowoomba Empire Theatre is a heritage listed art deco venue that provides a wide range of performing arts to every taste.
Toowoomba parks and gardens become vibrant and ablaze with colors and life. That is why it is called the Garden City. The Carnival of Flowers is held with street parades and other activities.
